A sociable and noisy small brown bird commonly found around homes, feeders, and hedges.

Male House Sparrows have grey crowns, chestnut-brown backs, and black bibs. Females are plainer brown with buff underparts. They are highly social and often gather in groups around feeders and rooftops.
